Climber/tree surgeon opportunity - Bounds Green

About the job

Working to complete jobs to a good standard, on time. Job includes reading and understanding job sheets/ risk assessments. liaising with clients and owner. Carrying out work, maintaining equipment. Climber should have a clean driving licence, work well as being part of a team. Proficient at identifying trees. Proficient at pruning, reductions, pollarding and take downs including rigging. I would like the applicant to have experience and to be someone who enjoys work and the company of work mates.

There is an opportunity to become a team leader or contracts manager so progression would be encouraged.

I have had lots of applicants who want to climb and go home, people who only want short term work, people who have exaggerated experience and people who have a negative attitude toward tree work. This is not of interest to us.

I need someone who is self motivated, a problem solver and happy to motivate others should the job call for that. I am more than happy to pay you what you are worth I just need some commitment in return.

We are a great company, we have a very mixed workload including high end private clients, estates, council contracts and have recently sent a tender for the Royal Parks! Surely you want to work with some of the countries most important trees.

Loyalty and dedication is always rewarded. We have regular company outings and fun days. I want someone who gets along with workmates and someone we can all have a laugh with.

We have new equipment, a yard, regular professional development opportunities. You name it, you can have it, just turn up on time, be proactive , don’t phone in sick all the time, don’t take drugs at work and don’t ask for money at the end of every day. You will be paid weekly, you won’t ever wait for money that’s a promise. You start at 8am and go home as soon as you’re finished. Often before 2pm!
