Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Surgeon (Climber) to join our team in the utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree climbing and pruning, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal operations in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain climbing and rigging equipment, including ropes, harnesses, and chainsaws.
• Work closely with ground crews and utility personnel to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tree care operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including tree assessments, pruning plans, and completion reports.

Preferred Skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tree surgeon (climber) in the utilities sector preferred but not essential.
• Certified Arborist or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proficient in tree climbing, pruning, and removal techniques.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
