About the CompanyMechanical Vegetation Solutions Pty Ltd (MVS) supply contract services for arboriculture (tree surgery and removals), large scale weed management, fire break maintenance and fuel reduction services, environmental maintenance, waterway and wetland dredging, dewatering and maintenance and commercial on site grinding services.

Arboriculture, Forestry Industry, Agricultural, Civil Construction, Transport, State Government and Municipalities, Mining, Electrical Supply, National Parks and Wildlife Services and private landholders
MVS is certified to ISO 14001 Environmental, ISO 9001 Quality & AS/NZS 4801 Safety. All MVS equipment has been fully risk assessed and our operators have been trained, assessed and certified against our safe operating procedures. All heavy machinery is fully guarded and has R.O.P.S. and F.O.P.S. protection to comply with industry standards.
About the jobM.V.S. is an established provider of Arboricultural services to Government, Councils, Civil, Commercial and private clients.
We are looking for motivated self-starters who are highly organised with excellent industry knowledge and communication skills.
Duties include but not limited to:
Management of the Construction/Arboriculture process including site management and administration.
Development and implementation of a project management plan & SWMS.
Communication with potential new clients in regard to inspections and quoting.
Ensuring all personnel comply with WHS and environmental requirements.
Provide a quality service to our clients and endeavour to gain new clients.
Scheduling of works for crews.
Work out logistics involved with work-loads, work type, client expectations, plant & equipment and staff availability.
Organisation of daily maintenance and contact with contractors and suppliers.
Induction of new employees.
Preferred SkillsMinimum Certificate 4 Arboriculture
Effective communication skills and ability to delegate and lead.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to see potential issues and be proactive in decisions.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products.
